He set up a company and researching the computer software. An old saying go, ―Interest is the best teacher.‖ I quite agree with this idea. I began to be crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs. To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best ―meal‖ of a day. As a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.

Recently some citizens advised that schools and universities kept their gyms and playgrounds opening at weekends for citizens to do sport. The common people welcome the idea warmly when some principals and presidents were against the proposal strongly. Here are their reasons: Citizens entering schools or universities will make that harder to keep the campus safely. Besides, the sports facilities might also be damaged. Therefore, the supporters think it important for citizens to take part in physical exercise. In addition to, the local government and institutes should offer more space and facilities for exercise. In this way, we can enjoy good health and live happy life. Meanwhile, it helps save the money spent on medical care and treatment.

I think a good student may has a lot of qualities, and the following three are the basic ones. They are diligence, intelligence and confidence.Take Tom for an example,he is one of the best students in class and serves as our monitor.Although he is clever and learn fast, but he is not lazy.Unlike some other student who study well in the same class,he reads a great many of science books. These students are as hard-working as Tom and they don’t have an equal rich knowledge. Last Sunday,I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full with freshness and beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds sing. When I was enjoyed the fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant caught my eyes.A young couple in a boat are eating, talking and laughing loudly as if we were the only people in the world. What was worse, they spat and even threw rubbish into the lake, total ignoring the noticeable sign “No Littering” nearby. What shame! Such behavior left me deep in thought.Because all visitors to the Fairy Lake Park do as the couple did so,the lake will be seriously polluted and soon turned into a huge dustbin. Last week I went to visit my former neighbor,Mr.Yang.He and I used to living next to each other for many years.About half a year ago,the order came that the old building, along with many other similar ones, was going to be pulled down to make rooms for a main street. So I had to move it apart.Mr.Yang now lives in the suburbs near a beautiful park. His new apartment is much big than before. The only problem is that it took quite a long time to get to the downtown area.Therefore,Mr.Yang doesn’t seem to worry about the long distance. He says that new subway line is to be built in a few year and he is sure life will be better in the future. In a recent announcement, Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) said that they have joined forces to offer free online courses in an effort to attract millions of online learners worldwide.
Beginning this fall, a number of courses developed by teachers at both universities will be offered online through a new $60 million program, known as edX. “Anyone with an Internet connection anywhere in the world can use our online courses, ” Harvard President Drew Faust said during a meeting to announce the plan.
MIT has offered a program called OpenCourseWare for ten years that makes materials from more than 2, 000 classes free online. It has been used by more than 100 million people. In December, the school announced it also would begin offering a special certificate, known as MITx, for people who complete certain online courses. Harvard has long offered courses to a wider population through a similar program. The MITx will serve as the foundation for the new learning platform.

Question: Could you introduce yourself first? Answer: My name is Misbah, 27 years old. I was born in a war-torn area. Right now I'm a web designer. Q: What are your great memories? A: My parents used to take us to hunt birds, climb trees, and play in the fields. For me it was like a holiday because we were going to have fun all day long. Those are my great memories. Q: Does your childhood mean a lot to you? A: Yes. As life was very hard, I used to work to help bring money in for the family. I spent my childhood working, with responsibilities beyond my age. My only contact with my parents now is through the phone, but I hate using it. It filters(過濾) out your emotion and leaves your voice only.
