淺談高三英語(yǔ)詞匯專(zhuān)題化復(fù)習(xí)

摘 要:詞匯是英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的重要組成部分。高三復(fù)習(xí)時(shí)間短任務(wù)重,如何在有限的時(shí)間內(nèi)進(jìn)行詞匯的有效復(fù)習(xí)是關(guān)鍵。本文旨在探討詞匯專(zhuān)題化復(fù)習(xí)的理念和方法,希望對(duì)高三英語(yǔ)復(fù)習(xí)有所幫助。

詞匯復(fù)習(xí)是高三英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)。在傳統(tǒng)的詞匯復(fù)習(xí)教學(xué)中,很多教師采取詞匯聽(tīng)寫(xiě)和詞匯用法講解相結(jié)合的做法。這種復(fù)習(xí)方法或許暫時(shí)可以提高學(xué)生的成績(jī),但從長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)的角度看卻存在著問(wèn)題。首先,詞匯聽(tīng)寫(xiě)的效率比較低。詞匯聽(tīng)寫(xiě)過(guò)程中,教師過(guò)度地強(qiáng)調(diào)單詞的拼寫(xiě)和中文意思的機(jī)械配對(duì),學(xué)生遺忘率很高。其次,詞匯用法講解耗時(shí)多,而且只是簡(jiǎn)單系統(tǒng)地再現(xiàn)以往學(xué)過(guò)的知識(shí),學(xué)生的語(yǔ)用能力并沒(méi)有得到提升?傊,這類(lèi)復(fù)習(xí)方法忽視了學(xué)生情感體驗(yàn)的需要,會(huì)影響學(xué)生語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,抑制學(xué)生能力的提升。
新課標(biāo)明確指出英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的總目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。但是,綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力的形成要建立在語(yǔ)言技能、語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、情感態(tài)度、學(xué)習(xí)策略等素養(yǎng)整合發(fā)展的基礎(chǔ)上。所以,詞匯教學(xué)也要以提高學(xué)生的綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力為主要教學(xué)目標(biāo),而不是簡(jiǎn)單地重復(fù)和再現(xiàn)詞匯知識(shí)。
眾所周知,高中英語(yǔ)教材中單元的構(gòu)建是以同一話題為線索。詞匯專(zhuān)題化即圍繞單元話題的詞語(yǔ)集。詞匯專(zhuān)題化復(fù)習(xí)就是以單元話題為主線,遵循教材的內(nèi)在體系,通過(guò)相同或相似話題的任務(wù)設(shè)置,復(fù)現(xiàn)承載與話題相關(guān)的詞匯,增加特定語(yǔ)境下詞匯的重復(fù)率。詞匯專(zhuān)題化復(fù)習(xí)要求教師從單元的主題出發(fā),多角度地挖掘單元主題的內(nèi)涵,從中提煉主題詞匯。同時(shí)創(chuàng)設(shè)與教材單元的編寫(xiě)思路和主要內(nèi)容相吻合的新語(yǔ)篇和新情景,避免孤立地復(fù)習(xí)單詞和炒冷飯的現(xiàn)象,以提高詞匯復(fù)習(xí)的效率和效果。
從2012年開(kāi)始,筆者開(kāi)始嘗試詞匯專(zhuān)題化復(fù)習(xí)的方法,形成了以單元話題為主線貫穿話題相關(guān)詞匯的復(fù)習(xí)策略。本文將以一節(jié)公開(kāi)課為例,闡釋如何進(jìn)行詞匯專(zhuān)題化復(fù)習(xí)。
Teaching plan for Money & Shopping
I.Learning objective:
After the class, the students are able to use the words and expressions related to shopping and money and express ideas precisely.
II. Key and difficult points: Express ideas in sentences naturally and correctly.
III. Learning procedure:
Step One: Get to understand what happens on Double 11.
Activity 1: Guess what is “chopping hands family”
Purpose: To arise students’ interest in the topic.
Step Two: Try to understand reasons why there is crazy shopping online on some special day, say, Double 11 and Double 12.
Activity 2: Listen to a piece of TV news about shopping online on both Double 11 and Double 12.
Purpose: Pay special attention to and understand words about reasons of crazy shopping online.
Reasons for crazy shopping online:
1.a clearance sale 2.advertisements 3.fall into temptation 4.follow the trend 5.save money
6.reduce pressure 7.bargains 8.fierce battles among retailers 9.launch sales promotion
10.raise profits 11.eager buyers 12.discount 13.a big price cut 14.cheaper

Step Three: Try to understand problems of crazy shopping online.
Activity 3: Read pictures first and then talk with the help of some given words related to shopping online.
Purpose: Pay special attention to and understand words about problems of crazy shopping online.
