世博會(huì)將給我們留下什么:上海世博會(huì)留下的展館

　　2010年上海世博會(huì)讓世界把目光聚焦“城市”,力圖在“城市化”和“反城市化”思潮中,探求城市的可持續(xù)發(fā)展道路。本屆世博會(huì)將給后人留下我們對(duì)未來(lái)的承諾:堅(jiān)持可持續(xù)發(fā)展,是保護(hù)地球家園的必由之路。

　　這是一段說(shuō)短不短,說(shuō)長(zhǎng)也不長(zhǎng)的歷史。1851年5月1日,英國(guó)海德公園內(nèi)一座叫做“水晶宮”的玻璃建筑掛滿了萬(wàn)國(guó)彩旗。從此,一個(gè)叫做“世界博覽會(huì)”的盛大活動(dòng),就成了整個(gè)地球人類的共同節(jié)日。在每屆世博會(huì)的184天里,人們跨越了國(guó)與國(guó)的界限,在廣泛的領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行著越來(lái)越深入地溝通與交流,以共同應(yīng)對(duì)伴隨發(fā)展而來(lái)的各種挑戰(zhàn)。
　　百年世博的歷史,充滿著與時(shí)俱進(jìn)的精神。19世紀(jì)中葉的世博會(huì)充斥著琳瑯滿目的商品,那時(shí)世博會(huì)還叫“萬(wàn)國(guó)工業(yè)產(chǎn)品博覽會(huì)”。1851年英國(guó)“水晶宮”里近兩萬(wàn)個(gè)參展商提供了10多萬(wàn)件展品,呈現(xiàn)出一派工業(yè)革命給世界帶來(lái)的美妙圖景。進(jìn)入20世紀(jì),工業(yè)革命以來(lái)人類幾乎所有的重要發(fā)明,都通過(guò)世博會(huì)傳遍世界,科技與生活成為當(dāng)時(shí)人類文明的主旋律。

　　上海世博會(huì)除“一軸四館”作為永久性建筑之外,那些充滿創(chuàng)意的外國(guó)館、企業(yè)館,以及園區(qū)內(nèi)的大量附屬設(shè)施,都將在世博會(huì)結(jié)束后被拆除,不會(huì)過(guò)多地留下有形的東西,更多是城市生活的樣式、新生活的理念、中國(guó)的國(guó)際形象以及中國(guó)精神的提升。來(lái)自世界各國(guó)的多元文化在世博會(huì)這個(gè)國(guó)際大舞臺(tái)上交流融合,不僅對(duì)中國(guó)的經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展具有強(qiáng)勁且綿長(zhǎng)的拉動(dòng)作用,而且將給我們留下一筆豐富的精神財(cái)富。
　　在世界性金融危機(jī)的背景下,上海世博會(huì)的會(huì)展經(jīng)濟(jì)效應(yīng)將給中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)帶來(lái)強(qiáng)勁的助推力。最直接的收益者是上海市乃至長(zhǎng)三角、珠三角的旅游業(yè)。據(jù)預(yù)測(cè),以7000萬(wàn)人次的參觀人數(shù)計(jì)算,屆時(shí)僅上海旅游業(yè)的直接收入將達(dá)144.2億元。而對(duì)于長(zhǎng)三角周邊地區(qū)的“溢出效應(yīng)”,可達(dá)30億美元。上海世博會(huì)還將直接拉動(dòng)原材料、建筑、城市環(huán)境建設(shè)、現(xiàn)代化交通通信設(shè)施、商業(yè)、金融等一系列基礎(chǔ)產(chǎn)業(yè)和第三產(chǎn)業(yè)的提升擴(kuò)張,在經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)發(fā)展的方方面面,都將產(chǎn)生重大影響。
　　從1851年首屆世博會(huì)以來(lái),現(xiàn)代社會(huì)的許多新概念、新的生產(chǎn)、生活方式都是從世博會(huì)中孕育形成的。比如,將商品匯集在一起交易的百貨商店,組織觀光游覽的旅游活動(dòng),提供休閑娛樂(lè)活動(dòng)的各類公園、游樂(lè)場(chǎng)、度假村、俱樂(lè)部等,都是首先從世博會(huì)開始,或從世博會(huì)得到啟發(fā)而形成的。
　　上海世博會(huì)提出的“城市,讓生活更美好”主題,第一次從城市的角度探討人類未來(lái)的發(fā)展,將以全新的視角改變?nèi)祟惿�活方式�?1世紀(jì)是城市發(fā)展的重要時(shí)期,預(yù)計(jì)到2010年,全球總?cè)丝趯⒂?5%居住于城市。對(duì)未來(lái)城市生活的憧憬與展望是一項(xiàng)全球性的課題。作為首屆以“城市”為主題的世界博覽會(huì),在上海世博會(huì)184天的展期里,世界各國(guó)政府和人民將圍繞“城市,讓生活更美好”這一主題充分展示城市文明成果、交流城市發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)、傳播先進(jìn)城市理念,從而為新世紀(jì)人類的居住、生活和工作探索嶄新的模式,為生態(tài)和諧社會(huì)的締造和人類的可持續(xù)發(fā)展提供生動(dòng)的例證。
　　作為全球最高級(jí)別的展覽會(huì),世博會(huì)是各國(guó)動(dòng)員全國(guó)力量,全方位展示本國(guó)社會(huì)、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化成就和發(fā)展前景的最好機(jī)會(huì),所以世界各大國(guó)爭(zhēng)相承辦世博會(huì),國(guó)際大都市一直熱衷于舉辦世博會(huì)。為了辦好上海世博會(huì),我們?cè)?年的時(shí)間里進(jìn)行了充分的準(zhǔn)備,不僅要展示中國(guó)的成就,還要“舉全國(guó)之力,集中華智慧,共同辦好世博盛會(huì)”,籌辦上海世博會(huì)成為中國(guó)的一次不分階層、不分地域、全民參與的盛會(huì),促成了人們素質(zhì)的提高,全面提升了我們的國(guó)家精神。
　　世博會(huì)具有強(qiáng)大的國(guó)際展示和交流功能,這使得我們?cè)诨I辦和舉辦過(guò)程中可以全方位地向世界展示自己,更加緊密地融入到世界之中。從更廣的范圍上講,世博會(huì)是一次中國(guó)向世界展示綜合國(guó)力、提升國(guó)際形象的機(jī)會(huì)。借助這個(gè)平臺(tái),把世界帶回中國(guó),將中國(guó)介紹給世界,讓中國(guó)更深入地融入世界。
　　1910年,晚清名士陸士諤曾在他的小說(shuō)《新中國(guó)》中預(yù)言:中國(guó)將在百年后舉辦萬(wàn)國(guó)博覽會(huì),地點(diǎn)就在上海浦東,上海將建成過(guò)江隧道、跨江大橋和地鐵網(wǎng)絡(luò);百年后的中國(guó)將國(guó)家富強(qiáng)、人民自由。我們要感謝這位先賢,是他讓中國(guó)有了這個(gè)理想,并通過(guò)后人們100年的努力,終于變成了現(xiàn)實(shí)。我們?cè)诎l(fā)展經(jīng)濟(jì)文化、倡導(dǎo)自由平等、對(duì)外交流合作等方面都取得了令世界矚目的成績(jī),一個(gè)富強(qiáng)、民主、文明的現(xiàn)代中國(guó)將通過(guò)世博會(huì)展示給全世界。
　　上海世博會(huì)之后,中國(guó)還將舉辦廣州亞運(yùn)會(huì)、深圳世界大運(yùn)會(huì)、西安世界園藝博覽會(huì)等。一個(gè)個(gè)面向世界的承諾,成為推動(dòng)中國(guó)走出去、重塑國(guó)際形象的極好機(jī)會(huì),為中國(guó)在21世紀(jì)的發(fā)展提供良好、持久的發(fā)展動(dòng)力。
　　
　　The 2010 Shanghai World Expo will focus the eyes of the world on “cities,” in an aim to explore a sustainable development road for cities in the thinking waves of “urbanization” and “anti-urbanization.” The Shanghai World Expo will leave our promise of the future for our descendants: insisting on sustainable development is our inevitable road to protect our global home.
　　Save for the “one axis and four pavilions” that will be kept as the permanent buildings, the innovative foreign pavilions, enterprise pavilions and a tremendous amount of auxiliary facilities in the World Expo Park will be moved away after the World Expo is over. Few tangible things will be left except for the city living modes, new living concepts, China’s international image and the promotion of the Chinese spirit. The mosaic culture from all over the world will launch communication and mergence on the large international stage of the World Expo, not only promoting China’s economic development, but also will leaving behind a sum of spiritual wealth for us.
　　As the highest level global exposition, the World Expo is the best opportunity for countries all over the world to mobilize the power of their whole country to showcase their social, economic and cultural achievements and development vision. Therefore, all powerful countries and international municipalities strive for the right to host the World Expo. To host the Shanghai World Expo well, China has made full preparation over the past eight years. We will not only make a display of China’s achievements, but also will host the World Expo well by utilizing the power of the whole country and assembling the Chinese wisdom. The Shanghai World Expo will be a ceremonious event for all Chinese people without any division of levels and regions, which will promote both people’s personal quality and China’s national spirit.
　　The World Expo has powerful functions for international showcase and communications. In the course of making preparation and hosting the World Expo, we can make an all-round display of ourselves to the world and closely integrate ourselves with the world. From a more extensive view, the World Expo is an opportunity for China to showcase its comprehensive national power and improve its international image. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the world can be introduced to China and China can be introduced to the world.
　　In 1901, Lu Shi’e, a celebrity of the end of the Qing Dynasty predicted in his book New China: “China will host the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nations 100 years later. The location will be in Pudong, Shanghai. Channel and bridge across the river as well as subway network will be constructed in Shanghai. China will become rich and powerful 100 years later. People will be free.”
　　We should thank this sage. It was he who enabled China to have this wish. Through the endeavors made by the Chinese people in 100 years, his prediction has come into being. In terms of developing economy and culture, advocating freedom and equality, and launching foreign communications and cooperation, we have secured remarkable achievements. A rich, powerful, democratic, civilized and modern China will be displayed to the world through the World Expo.
