In the afternoon of March 14th, “New Development, New Retail, New Intelligence” China Home Textiles and Household Supplies Influence Forum was held in National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Guided by China Home Textile Association and jointly cosponsored by China Textile Magazine, Home Textile Times Magazine and China National Textile and Apparel Council Media Center, the forum aimed at popularizing “carry on originality and precision manufacturing” positive energy and advocating persevere and innovative enterprise spirits in order to better cultivate local brands and elevate right of speech of enterprises in China home textile industry.
Yang Donghui, former vice president of CNTAC and former president of China Home Textile Association, Yang Jun, executive vice president of China Textile Enterprise Association, Xu Hong, editor-in-chief of China Textile Magazine, Zhu Cheng, president of Jiangsu CHAN Garment Co., Ltd., Liu Yiqiang, vice president of Suzhou TP Technology Co., Ltd., Shan Pengfei, general manager of China Home Textile.com as well as relevant leaders, experts, home textile enterprise representatives, buyers, agents and media participated in this forum.
Yang Donghui made a keynote speech on the forum, giving his unique opinion on the three “new”involved in the forum theme “New Development, New Retail, New Intelligence”, and expressing that,“it’s never too excessive to talk about new things in such an era”. Home textile industry is closely related to people’s life. Present new development should also be closely associated with new expectations of people for beautiful life; “new retail” is included in new channel within a larger category, nowadays there are not only online and offline forms but also Wechat business, Wechat supply, etc., and this requires that enterprises should broaden their vision and adapt their new marketing patterns to new commercial form; “new intelligence” is changing whenever and wherever possible, and home textile intelligence should run through production, circulation to consumption fields.
Home textile industry enjoyed growth in steady process in 2017. Home textile industry is standing on a brand-new starting point in 2018. A journey of one thousand miles begins with one step, and how to continuously adapt to changed market demand and adjust business thought from the three “new” angle involved in this theme so as to realize steady development have become problems needing in-depth researches by our home textile enterprises.
