　3、減負(fù)并不是取消，而是如何進(jìn)行高考英語改革，比如，針對英語的特點，高考英語或一年考多次，實現(xiàn)更大公平，為學(xué)生提供更多出彩的機會。

　It is reported that the listening test will have been canceled in the English College Entrance Examination of Shandong province since 2014. The news triggers a heated discussion among the people who are concerned about the most important examination. Some people hold that the burden of the students will be reduced without listening. Also, it tends to avoid such public affairs as happened among the examinees and help to reduce the city and countryside disparity. There are other people, however, who are against this decision on this reform. They argue that this policy may influence negatively the English teaching method of senor or junior middle schools and even primary schools all over the country, for it is most likely to result in rebirth of "Deaf English" or "Dumb English".

　In my opinion, college entrance examinationis supposed to examine all aspects of English learning including listening,speaking, reading and writing. It is hardly possible for an examination without listing to assess students overall language ability. As to reducing studentsburden, what matters is how to reform the way to test students ability in College Entrance Examination instead of simply canceling the listening section. For example,a student can have several chances to do listening test for College Entrance Examination.

　最近教育部發(fā)出高考改革信息，英語將不再成為高考時統(tǒng)一考試的科目，考生將參加社會組織的英語水平考試，一年可以多考，而且成績可能從原來的 150 分調(diào)低為 120 分或 100 分。圍繞這一話題，某雜志向廣大學(xué)生征文，請你用英語寫一篇短文闡明你的想法和理由。

　Recently, the Department of Education says that English will not be among the subjects of the National College Entrance Examination. Students can take the English examination several times a year and the mark might be reduced from 150 to 120 or 100. I qiute approve of the reform,which the following may account for.

　First of all,for more than three decades, we Chinese students have been spending too much time on English study, but many of them seldom use English after graduation, which is really a waste of time. Meanwhile,quite a number of students ignore the study of Chinese.Compared with English,they spent much less time and energy studying Chinese. As for the change of the mark, I think it reasonable. As a Chinese, we should be more concerned about our native language.

　To sum up, the examination reform will be popular with most parents,teachers and students. Students will have more time to study other subjects and attend more activities, and their lives will be

　more colorful.

　According to the reform program of the college entrance examination that the Ministry of Education has made，some of the subjects will be examed many times in a year.People have different oppinions about this. Some say that this program give students more free time.Students can choose the exam time themself and its obvious an effective way to improve their grades of the university entrance examination.On the other hand,if some of the subjects are finished ahead of time,students will be in less pressure during the time. There are also many people against the program while others are in favour of it.It wil increase the burden of the students by the frequently tests.Also,it is a waste of the education resource cause the exam costs more in this case. In my oppinion，to pass the exam before the reference time is a good way to relax ourselves while we are all under the pressure of the university entrance examination.So Im looking forward to see the reform program to be brought into force. 　English, which has been one of the core subjects in Chinas national college entrance exam for almost 30 years, looks set to be reduced in importance (降低重要性)from 2016.

　The current English test in the Gaokao is to be replaced by social English tests available to the public for several times every year. The exams full mark of the test will also be lowered from 150 at present to 100. The test result will also be graded into levels A, B and C which will count towards the final Gaokao score.

　This came amidst rumors sweeping online that English might be removed(退出) altogether from the Gaokao

　a claim which has since been denied by the Beijing education authority

　but not the central government. It is also said that the students learning interests on Chinese language might be further aroused.
